The validity period of the insurance policy depends on the length of your trip and the requirements of the embassy (consulate) of the destination country.
Please note: embassies of certain countries require that you purchase a policy which will be valid for 15 days after the planned date of return. This is a “reserve” in the event that you require medical assistance and need to prolong your stay for the duration of your treatment. In our system, the addition of 15 extra days to the insurance’s validity period according to the requirements and rules of the EU is controlled automatically and free of charge, and the extra days are added by default to the ETI and Alfa Insurance policies.
